|Description (Service)||Special Olympics provides athletes with an intellectual disability the opportunity to experience and succeed in sports.
Special Olympians gain self-confidence and transfer the success from the playing field to become more active citizens in society.
Current sports being offered are: bowling * track and field * speed skating * figure skating * basketball * swimming * baseball * floor hockey * some seasonal curling * tee-ball * and soccer
