Description and Service

Description (Service) Provide children and youth with backpacks, school supplies and lunch kits
  • accept monetary donations as well as school supply donations
  • see website for drop off locations
  • program runs all year round with a focus in late summer and early Fall in time for September return to school but also offer backpacks year round to newcomers to Canada or those connected with a worker
  • holding an online auction Apr 19-28, a Simcoe Youth Choir concert May 13 and a charity golf tournament Sep 25. See events tab on website for details
Eligibility
  • Students in Junior Kindergarten to grade 12+ living in Simcoe County
  • Must attend full-time in-person instruction at a publicly funded school and be living in a low-income household or be vulnerable to poverty

  • Complete Parent/Guardian sign-up form on website
  • complete Community Worker sign-up form on website
  • complete Nomination form on website
