Description and Service

Description (Service)	Program of the North Simcoe Muskoka Hospice Palliative Care Network offers services and ongoing support to anyone living with a progressive life-limiting illness and/or their friends/family members/caregivers. Support from diagnosis through end-of-life, including bereavement support after a death. Each service has a different area of focus and has been designed to help individuals, friends and family members in specialized ways. Bereavement Support Services: Overdose-Related Loss Support Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support COPE Facility Dog Trooper Equine Bereavement Support Peer Support Groups Peer One-on-One Support Youth Equine Bereavement Support Youth Bereavement Bundles Visiting Hospice Services: Complementary Therapies Footprints Legacy Project Supportive Counselling Visiting Volunteer Services Hospice Orillia is a member of the North Simcoe Muskoka Community Support Services Coalition.
Eligibility	People who need end of life care or bereavement supports.
Application	Client will complete an intake process, then a Program Coordinator will complete an assessment and make a service match. Call for intake.

Volunteer Description	30 hour training sessions take place throughout the year for individuals interested in assisting those with life threatening illnesses and their families with a variety of tasks. Call for information
