Description and Service

Description (Service)	The Orillia Active Living Centre provides those aged 55+ in Orillia and surrounding areas with age friendly recreation programs. Programs are hosted in the Orillia Room at Rotary Place (100 University Avenue) and in various outdoor locations in the summer months.Examples of current and past activities include: Seniors socials Table games Shuffleboard Carpet bowling Special Events Fitness classes Volunteering Goals of this program: Preventing senior isolation in our community. Promoting physical activity and social engagement. Providing opportunities to build new relationships and eliminate barriers to participation in recreation activities by creating a safe space. Monthly activity calendars are available online, at the Orillia Active Living Centre, and at the Orillia Recreation Centre front desk. Visit orillia.ca/oalc for for more information.

Application	Visit orillia.ca/Sun for membership details or call 705-325-4386 for support. Drop-in pass available for purchase at the Orillia Recreation Centre and Rotary Place during programming hours. Pre-registration is not required; drop in to any program with your membership card to participate.
