Description (Service) Regional Kidney Care Program located at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital  
 
Kidney Care Clinic 
* Pre-dialysis clinics and education sessions * helps patients and families choose the best treatment when time comes to start dialysis 
 
Home Dialysis Unit 
* Teaches patients and families how to manage their Peritoneal Dialysis and home hemodialysis treatment at home * Offers follow-up for patients once they go home to ensure they are able to manage their treatment at home 
 
Hemodialysis Unit 
* Offers hemodialysis at the in-centre hemodialysis unit at OSMH and 5 satellite units across Simcoe Muskoka including: 
* Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston 
* Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie 
* Collingwood General and Marine Hospital 
* Muskoka Algonquin Health Centre in Huntsville 
* Georgian Bay General Hospital in Penetanguishene
