Monthly birth certificate application clinics held at Barrie office

  • fee is waived for unhoused community members
  • John Howard staff will submit the application on the client's behalf and the certificate will be sent to Barrie office to be picked up once processed
Eligibility Program is for individuals living in:
  • public spaces not ordinarily designed for sleeping (e.g. Streets, parks, etc.)
  • private spaces not ordinarily designed for sleeping (e.g. sleeping in car, couch surfing)
  • an emergency shelter for individuals and families impacted by homelessness or domestic violence
      a transitional housing program designed to serve the homeless and marginally housed
