Description and Service

Description (Service) Assists adults and seniors, with physical disabilities or limitations, in Simcoe County and area, to live independently

Services include:
  • Personal Support
  • Assisted Living Support
  • Homemaking
  • Home Modification
  • Assistive Technology and Devices
  • Quipit, a free online classified website to buy and sell assistive devices and home care equipment
  • Community Development and Training and Consultation work
    • Offers public education programs relating to Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards and disability related topics, and accessibility consultations to individuals, businesses and organizations
Eligibility Ages: 16 yrs and up

Application Applications, when required, are available at the Central Office or can be downloaded from website

Fees None - for most programs, including Support Services. Fee for service for some specific educational programs and consultations.
