Description (Service) Non-emergency transportation for those in need, such as older adults and adults with disabilities in the community, who are unable to use public transportation or private means
  • Medical and essential travel - will drive to areas such as the GTA for medical appointments
  • Local and Long distance rides
  • Transportation to social gatherings and shopping, as resources allow
  • Wheelchair accessible vehicles available
  • Member of the CT Link, Community Transportation Link
    Eligibility
    • Older adults and adults with disabilities who cannot access public transportation
    • Age Requirements: Service is available to those age 65 and up. Adults under the age of 65 will be evaluated on a case by case basis
    • Residency Requirements: must be residents of South Muskoka or Simcoe County north of HWY 89, excluding Orillia residents

    • pre-booking required with 7 days notice for all areas but Red Cross will try to accommodate with less notice if the resources are available
