Description (Service) | First Aid and CPR training programs for workplace, home and the community * WSIB approved workplace courses include Standard and Emergency First Aid with CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and WHMIS and Health and Safety Training * First Aid courses also include modules on Opioid Overdoses and Mental Health First Aid General interest courses offered in CPR, Standard First Aid, Emergency First Aid, Automated External Defibrillation (AED), Pet First Aid, Babysitting and Home Alone, Mental Health First Aid, New Parent Workshop * courses advertised when available and private/custom courses in CPR (minimum 6 people) and First Aid (minimum 10 people) for businesses and individuals upon request * First Aid courses offered to seniors through seniors groups and institutions * see website for course dates and locations First Aid kits for the workplace, home, automobile, boat, sports club and supplies available for purchase * AED units and supplies available for purchase Volunteer community services include the Medical First Responder Members that provide first aid services at public functions upon request * child car seat education inspections and clinics available with appointment * Youth Cadet Program (see separate record) and Dog Therapy Program where dogs and their handlers visit hospitals, nursing homes, schools and libraries |
