Description (Service) Crisis telephone line providing single-point access to crisis services for individuals in Simcoe County and surrounding areas
  • Crisis line is available 24 hrs a day for individuals to speak with staff who are professionally trained in mental health and addictions
  • Crisis workers provide:
    • suicide intervention
    • risk assessment
    • information and referrals
    • assistance in resolving crises and securing appropriate crisis intervention resource information
    • pre-crisis support and coping strategies to those who have experienced significant mental health concerns and/or psychosocial stressors and will secure appropriate level of Crisis intervention ongoing
