Distribution of Christmas and Birthday gifts to seniors who are alone, lonely or isolated

• seniors facilities provide names of residents who have no family or friends and a Christmas Bag of Love and new items will be delivered to them
• Adopt a Senior for Christmas Program matches Seniors with families who would like to "adopt" a senior for Christmas or any holiday
• organizes fundraising, inter-generational and seasonal programs such as Ice Cream Socials and Party in the Park
• wishes are also granted throughout the year for Seniors in the community, plus inter-generational and educational programs are organized

Donations of the following items are accepted

• stuffed animals
• playing cards/games
• items such as deodorant, hand lotion, face cream, soap
• small boxes of cookies or candies or anything one would find in a Christmas stocking
• cash donations can be made on-line or cheques sent by mail
• donations can be dropped off at donation boxes placed in stores and agencies in local communities, call or email for location of donation box nearest to you

To arrange for a Senior to participate in the program call 705-481-7593 or email info@aseniorwish.com and provide the community where Senior lives and you will be directed to the contact for the Senior Wish Chapter for that area
