Description (Service) Eight week programs that offer people of all ages and disabilities a chance to experience skiing and snowboarding * offered with the help of volunteer instructors at Horseshoe Resort, Heights of Horseshoe and Snow Valley
Dates One day per weekend per week Jan-Feb
Eligibility Ages: 14 year(s) and up 
 
Volunteers: 14 and up 
Participants: No restrictions
Application Student Application forms can be printed from website and mailed * medical history required * Physician's permission may be required * individual assessments are necessary to determine suitability for program * registration begins in September at individual participating locations * all programs are 100% volunteer based * number of trained volunteers will determine the number of available student spots each season with priority given to returning students

Fees Membership - $40 CADS ; Program - Additional student fees vary from program to program * must become member of CADS to participate
Volunteer Description * need volunteers to assist with instruction * must be 14 years of age and up * each centre provides volunteer training which includes dry-land training, chairlift evacuation training and on-hill training * contact centre for training schedule and for dates of volunteer orientation day * volunteer contact for each location listed on website * volunteers will be required to provide Police background check, contact hill coordinator for request letter
