Fall Buy/Sell/Trade Day at Burls Creek Event Grounds, off the 7th line of Oro, just off Hwy 11: Sun Sep 22, 2019, gates open at 8 am ** No dogs allowed on the premises. ** Vendors pay a $15 entry fee per vehicle. Buy/Sell/Trade days are usually concluded by 11 am - get there early for the best choice and buys!
Description and Service
Description (Service) Goal of this association is to exchange information and knowledge of all standard and exotic breeds and enjoy the fellowship of people with similar interests * interested in the advancement and preservation of standard breeds of fowl (such as chickens, pigeons, pheasants, etc), as well as rabbits and cavies (such as guinea pigs, etc) * members receive a monthly newsletter * share advice between members * raise awareness and promote interest in our poultry/pigeon/waterfowl/rabbits and other feathered and furry friends, through local Fairs and Shows * hold Buy/Sell/Trade (BST) days in the spring and fall.   
Two annual BST days provide the funds that enable the group to sponsor approximately 50 trophies and awards for local Fall Fairs.
Meetings Monthly meetings - 4th Tue of Feb -Nov 
Meetings are held at the Edgar Community Hall on the Old Barrie Road in Edgar. 7 pm potluck social followed by a brief meeting at 8 pm.  
NOTE: June, July, August and September meetings are often held at outside at member's homes to enjoy seeing their critters and set-up. Call ahead (705-686-3157) to find out where the meeting is if you'd like to come. November meeting is also often off-site for a holiday gathering - call ahead for location.
