Description and Service

Description (Service) Trained and certified volunteers educate and coach parents/guardians in the use of child restraint systems
  • Provides workshops and clinics in the community which allow parents to have their seats inspected and will assist with the correct installation if needed
  • If the seat is a forward facing one, have anchor bolt already installed

Application Call for appointment for car seat inspections, bring vehicle manual and child seat manual to appointment

Volunteer Description Volunteer opportunities include:
  • Medical First Responder Members that provide first aid services at public functions upon request
  • Child car seat education inspections and clinics available with appointment
  • Youth Cadet Program
  • Dog Therapy Program where dogs and their handlers visit hospitals, nursing homes, schools and libraries
  • Bingo Volunteers
