Description and Service
Description (Service) | Akwe:go (Mohawk meaning All of Us) Program is designed to provide comprehensive services to urban Indigenous at-risk children between the ages of 7 - 12 with the support, tools and healthy activities that will build upon and foster their inherent ability to make healthy lifestyle choices.
An added component of the Wasa-Nabin program is the Student Nutrition Program (SNP) which seeks to improve the ability of children and youth to concentrate and succeed, both in school and daily life, through the provision of healthy meals and snacks. |
