Looking for a volunteer to join a driven team to make a change in the arts and education. This is an unpaid not for profit start up position. Requirments are attending in person meetings and a passion to make a change in the community. 

Ideal candidate will be an active member in the community that is familiar with arts education. Also looking for two specific qualifications to round out our current board members, that being a Lawyer or a SEO market specialist to solidify a solid application for our non for profit launch in Barrie.

Bridget's Run Volunteers Needed!   Simcoe County 
Bridget's Bunnies Pregnancy and Infant Loss Foundation, Barrie

Bridget's Run is a 1km or 5km fun run, walk, or hop in recognition of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month and in support of Bridget's Bunnies Pregnancy and Infant Loss Foundation and individuals and families who have experienced loss.

Date: Saturday, October 18th, 2025

Location: Centennial Beach Park, Barrie ON

Time: 9:00-11:00 am


Bridget's Run is looking for volunteers to help make this a fun and successful event! We are recruiting for the following volunteer positions:
-Run Route Cheer volunteer
-Food Station volunteers
-Parking volunteers
-Merch and Raffle table volunteers

Volunteers will arrive between 8:30 and 9:00 am depending on the assigned volunteer position. The event ends at 11:00 am. 

Training will be provided.

Parking will be reimbursed.

Kidney Walk Event Day Volunteer - Simcoe (7 Sep 2025)   Simcoe County

The Kidney Foundation of Canada is the national volunteer organization committed to reducing the burden of kidney disease through funding and stimulating innovative research; providing education and support; promoting access to quality healthcare; and increasing public awareness and commitment to advancing kidney health and organ donation.

We are looking for event day volunteers for our 2025 Kidney Walk that will be responsible for registering walk participants, set-up/take-down of the event, and route marshaling on Sunday September 7th at St. Vincent Park (65 Blake St, Barrie, On L4M 1J9) from 7:30am-1pm.

Requirements: Carrying and lifting; Dexterity and agility; Walking and/or standing; Communication; Reading and writing; Works collaboratively with Chapter and or Branch staff; Works as part of a team; Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Previous volunteer experience at a special event is an asset.

Minimum age: 13

Suitable for: Groups of volunteers; Family; Students/Classes or individuals

Commitment: One day

Training: Information including the meeting spot and staff lead will be provided to all volunteers in advance of the event day. Staff members on-site provide additional orientation and training during the event.
