Record Details

Sup. Description This is a non-credit program designed to support adults to increase their skills. This could include: reading, writing, math, computer skills, problem solving, communication, test taking skills, critical thinking skills and any of the 'soft skills' employers seek, such as time management, presentation skills and verbal communication skills. Adults who need to write aptitude tests and entrance tests for employment may also be eligible to attend the program to prepare. A skills inventory (also known as assessment) is a service offered to assist adults with a 'starting point' in their learning process, along with a chance to meet with staff to discuss skills, goals and pathway options to achieve their goals.
