Description and Service

Description (Service) Offers prepared meals with kidney dietary restrictions in mind so kidney care patients can eat healthier and within their dietary requirements.
  • Kidney friendly frozen meals that can be purchased through the hospital
  • Works with the registered dietitians to prepare meal options to follow specific kidney friendly, low salt dietary guidelines
  • Twelve meal options available and six low sodium soup choices
  • Meals are ready-to-bake from the freezer
Eligibility No restrictions - food is designed for those with dietary restrictions, but is available for purchase to anyone.
Application To purchase, contact the Food and Nutrition Department at 705-325-2201 ext 3228 or fill out an order form (available at the cash in the cafeteria) and return it to the cashier in the cafeteria during regular business hours. Payment can be made by cash or debit.
