Description (Service)	Assists Ogemawahj Tribal Council (OTC) First Nation members who are: long-term unemployed eligible for Employment Insurance (EI) on social assistance with in-school training, on-the-job training, work experience or a combination of both Training is to provide employable and/or transferable skills that give the client a high probability of achieving employment following the program. Training should lead to the client's self-sufficiency and career aspirations. Program overview: organizational requests to train community members individual client requests for in-class and/or on-the-job work experience · training job creation program targeted wage subsidy program youth at risk program youth development program summer career placement program
Eligibility	must be a member of an OTC First Nation reside in Ontario be unemployed, on social assistance or EI underemployed and/or clients whose employment is at risk due to changes in the labour market, insufficient employment skills or certification
Application	Applicants must: complete the OTTER intake and assessment process complete a Participant Information Form (PIF) and Consent Form
Languages	English; Ojibway - Reception, Interpretation
Fees	None, Funding depends on budget availability.
