Description (Service)

University health service offering:

  • Health and wellness resources both on and off campus
  • A wide range of resources and information as well as short term counselling
  • Counsellors to connect students to a variety of local services if longer term needs are identified
  • Confidentiality
  • Provided to students for free


Issues may include:

  • Abuse
  • Addictions
  • Adjustment difficulties
  • Temperament issues
  • Mental health
  • Grief
  • Personal relationship issues
  • Stress and anxiety
Eligibility Full and part-time students attending Lakehead University Orillia Campus
Application
  • Call or drop in to schedule an appointment
  • Requests for all health services and counselling appointments can be made through the mySuccess portal
