The Archives collects, preserves and makes available:

  • Private manuscripts, such as the personal papers of residents
  • Business records
  • Papers of clubs, institutions, and associations
  • Community newspapers and publications
  • Photographs
  • Maps
  • Oral history and other sound recordings
  • Moving images
  • Genealogical information

Records reflect some aspect of the County's history

Application
  • Researchers and members of the general public can book an onsite visit to the Archives.
  • Appointments will also be available for reference services and to schedule record donations.
