Professional counselling and psychotherapy services:
sessions are limited and are available on a first-come, first-serviced basis
in-person counselling sessions for individuals, couples and families
no-cost single-session counselling for people experiencing issues such as: family conflict, stress, grief, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, separation, divorce or abuse
clinicians may recommend/refer clinic clients for/to additional sessions, other CFS programs, or external community partners as required
Partner agency of Support Services for Male Abuse Survivors of Sexual Abuse - Central
offers support services and short-term counselling to help survivors deal with theimpact of abuse and to develop improved coping strategies
This is not a crisis clinic
Eligibility
Individuals, couples and families living or working in Simcoe Muskoka
Children under 12 years are welcome in family counselling sessions with the written permission of legal guardians
Nondenominational
Support Services for Male Survivors: Individuals 16 years and older who identify as male or non-binary, and have experienced historical sexual abuse or who are a victim of recent sexual assault
must be an Ontario resident
families of the survivor may also be eligible for service
