Description and Service

Former Name Catholic Family Services of Simcoe County ; CFSSC
Description (Service) Mental Wellness programs for youth including:
  • Workshop Groups with multiple sessions focusing on strategies to cope with anxiety (YMind Teen), stress, regulating emotions and improving relationships with others (Youth DBT Skills Group)
  • YouthCALL Service Link - a live answer helpline for youth who need help planing their paths forward
    • YouthCALL Service Link is the centralized "front door" for youth aged 12-25 to access a continuum of services from employment to mental health and addiction services offered through a delivery model that mixes on-site and virtual programming
    • YouthCALL is a collaborative program led by CFS Counselling + Wellness, in partnership with Gilbert Centre, Canadian Mental Health Association, New Path CONTACT Community Services, and Youth Haven
  • Drop-in Centres for youth 12-17, see Instagram for up-to-date scheduling
Eligibility
  • Simcoe County youth aged 12-25, ages vary for specific group services: Discord (14-19); Drop-ins (13-20)
  • Adult caregivers/allies of youth are welcome to call for information and resources
