Description and Service

Description (Service) Resource centre provides free information about family law issues to help people understand their needs and access appropriate services.

Resources and services include:
  • written publications, brochures and videos about separation and divorce, family justice services and court processes
  • access to court forms
  • information about alternative forms of dispute resolution and family mediation
  • referral to other local community resources
  • Family Advice Lawyer from Legal Aid Ontario is available at designated times to provide summary legal advice
Family Law Information Centres no longer located in Orillia and Bracebridge. Barrie Centre now also serves Orillia and Bracebridge.
