Description and Service
Description (Service) Rental, supportive and transitional housing, assisted home ownership and home repair programs with a specific focus on the First Nations, Inuit and M├ętis communities * central policy/program administration and development of training for Indigenous Housing Providers * responsible for matters related to culturally appropriate, safe, affordable and adequate off-reserve housing in Ontario outside of the GTA * utilize the talent, skills and experience of the Indigenous community in the allocation, delivery, construction and long-term management of housing and programs and service delivery * ensure tenant involvement through innovative and supportive policies
Eligibility Both Indigenous and Non-Indigenous applicants may be eligible for rental housing and programs depending on program guidelines and eligibility requirements * applicant's total family gross income from all sources must be within specific income thresholds
