Description (Service)	Registered charity that collects and distributes gift-filled Shoeboxes to local women's shelters and community agencies serving women, girls and gender-diverse individuals impacted by homelessness Shoeboxes are distributed during the holiday season and for other special occasions and events throughout the year each Shoebox is filled with items valued at $50 and personal notes of encouragement to enhance self-esteem and reduce feelings of isolation Shoebox can be filled with items such as gift cards, skin care products, good quality soaps and shampoos, make up, chocolates Shoeboxes can be put together by individuals, sports groups or companies Student Shoebox gift drives are a creative and hands-on group activity for students at the primary, secondary, or post-secondary level online donations are available and tax receipts will be provided year round if you would like to be a sponsor, host an event or volunteer on their committee, please email simcoecounty@shoeboxproject.com
