Description and Service

Former Name Canadian Association for Disabled Skiing
Description (Service) Eight week program that offers people of all ages and disabilities a chance to experience skiing and snowboarding.

Offered with the help of volunteer instructors at Heights of Horseshoe and Snow Valley, hopefully returning to Horseshoe Resort in future.
Eligibility Volunteers: 14 and up
Participants: No restrictions

Volunteer Description Volunteers needed to assist with instruction
  • must be 14 years of age and up
  • each centre provides volunteer training which includes dry-land training and on-hill training
  • contact centre for training schedule and for dates of volunteer orientation day, volunteer contact for each location listed on website
  • volunteers will be required to provide Police background check, contact hill coordinator for request letter
