The group is delivered in two, 10 week sessions and is facilitated by Mental Health professionals, specifically trained to deliver and support this group. | Description (Service) | Support group for suicide attempt survivors * group meetings allow members to discuss challenges and successes they face following their suicide attempt and to share and learn strategies for survival and ways to relieve the pain that may have led to their attempt * meets weekly for 20 weeks * breaks during the Holidays Skills for Safer Living is offered by the Crisis Program, in partnership with the Simcoe County Suicide Awareness Council and the Canadian Mental Health Association, Simcoe County Branch. |
