| Description (Service) | Used and new cross country ski equipment for sale at annual Fall Open House * fee of $3 per item charged to register equipment for sale, non-refundable * equipment accepted includes cross country skis, boots, bindings and poles, no alpine equipment will be accepted * staff reserve the right to refuse equipment which they consider obsolete, unsafe or unusable * selling price of equipment is set by owner * tape poles or skis together and tie the toes of boots with string * kids equipment which is in good shape is always in high demand Equipment to be sold may be brought to Hardwood starting on Saturday October 12 * equipment that does not sell may be picked up between the hours of 1pm to 4pm on Sunday, October 20 and between 9 am to 4 pm the following week * anything not picked up by 4 pm Sunday October 27, 2019 will be considered a donation to Hardwood Ski and Bike When equipment is sold, owner goes to the "Voucher Table" at the Swap to verify the sale and to obtain a voucher for the selling price * voucher can be taken to staff at the Hardwood Chalet and a cheque for the selling price less the 20% commission will be provided * voucher can also be used in full for a purchase at the Hardwood Ski Shop during the Open House Weekend, the full amount of the voucher must be used at one time * as an example of how this works, if a pair of skis is sold for $100, a cheque can be collected for $80 or a $100 voucher can be used to purchase something in the Ski Shop during the Open House Weekend |
