Description (Service) Discusses rose growing and other garden subjects * hosts a Rose Show in late June or early July * regional contact people in various areas to assist with problems in rose culture * each year during the month of May the Huronia Rose Society sells rose bushes at the Saturday morning Farmer's Markets in Barrie and Orillia * maintains a rose garden of hardy Canadian roses at Barrie's South Shore Community Centre * a plan of the garden with the names and description of the different types of roses in the garden is available at the garden site * hosts an annual rose show at Dorian Parker Community Centre
