Description (Service)

Does assessments (on which property taxes are based) of properties, including land and buildings. Also assesses exempt properties. Municipal enumerations are undertaken to produce municipal voters lists, lists of persons who can be called for jury duty, for the Ontario Population Report, and by municipalities and school boards for planning purposes. A nonprofit organization working for the municipalities.

  • Inquiries regarding an actual property tax bill or tax certificates should be directed to the Finance Dept of the appropriate municipality
  • Inquiries regarding municipal voters lists and municipal population should be directed to the Clerk's Office of the appropriate municipality 
  • To change school support, forms which are available from the school board offices must be submitted by mail or email to the MPAC office
  • Other school support issues should be referred to the Simcoe County District School Board or the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board
