Description (Service) | Provides child protection services * abuse prevention programs * family support * adoption services under the Child and Family Services Act Branch offices located in Barrie, Bracebridge, Collingwood, Huntsville, Midland, and Orillia * staff in these offices provide child protection and investigations services * specialized service teams for First Nations, Métis and Inuit Communities available from Barrie, * in addition to these services the Barrie Head Office provides: Adoption services, Adoption Disclosure services, Foster Care Resources, Volunteer services, Community Education, and general Administration Holiday Sponsorship program is an inclusive multicultural program designed to celebrate the traditions and meet the needs of individual families and young adults, who are under the supervision of Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions * program matches sponsors' gifts of new toys, clothes, and grocery gift cards to create complete holiday celebrations for families across Simcoe County * full and partial sponsorships are welcome (partial sponsorships will be matched with others to create a full sponsorship) Community Relations and Fundraising is the fundraising arm of Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions * funding from this program is used to help offset the costs associated with prevention programs and educational opportunities |
