Description (Service) | Five concerts a season at various locations in Barrie, see website for details * offers a Youth Program, and a Youth Lending Instrument service in partnership with Barrie Public Library * has small ensembles of musicians available to play music for events such as weddings and events * participates in Barrie Choralfest, a festival of choral music which runs every second year * Huronia Symphony is a volunteer-run, charitable not-for-profit organization with a Board of Directors |

Volunteer Description | Seeking volunteers: * to serve on the board of directors * to assist stage crew with concert setup and take down * to sell tickets on concert days * to act as ushers and program distributors * to assist with developing and contacting lists of prospective subscribers * to assist in various fund-raising projects with the Volunteer Committee * to set up Musical Outreach program in tandem with Lending Library; including post concert receptions Great opportunity to earn Community Service hours for high school students |
