Description and Service

Description (Service) Individual and family counselling for children up to 18 years of age who are experiencing emotional, social, behavioural difficulties
  • range of services offered to families includes prevention through education in child development and management, family counselling, group and individual therapy, and parenting groups
  • assists family to examine the inter-relationships of family members to learn more about the difficulties being experienced by themselves and their child, and to learn ways to overcome these difficulties
  • services are provided by a multidisciplinary team of professionals from the fields of social work, child and youth work, psychiatry, psychology, nursing and education
